Dr. Richard George is a board-certified interventional radiologist with Orlando Health Medical Group Radiology. He uses medical imaging such as X-rays, ultrasound and computed tomography (CT) to guide minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat conditions that once required open surgery. His office is in downtown Orlando. Dr. George has cared for patients in Central Florida since 2000. He earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, completed his residency in diagnostic radiology at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk and performed his fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.
