Polk County North Central Transfer Station

The North Central Transfer Station Customer Convenience Center is open to Polk County Residents and small operations for waste dumping. The list of items that are taken are as follows: • Rocks and dirt • Fencing material • Tires (Disposal fee $300/ton) • Household waste/garbage • Construction and demolition debris • Furniture/mattresses and boxsprings • White goods/appliances (disposal fee of $50/ton if freon appliance has freon • Mixed loads consisting of two or more materials
