Peace River Center

Peace River Center (PRC) is a non-profit provider of behavioral health and victim services in Polk, Highlands and Hardee counties. We serve children, adolescents, adults and seniors who are insured, underinsured, uninsured or indigent. Peace River Center is accredited by The Joint Commission and the Florida Council Against Sexual Violence (FCASV); licensed by the State of Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) and the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF). Founded in 1948, PRC offers a wide range of programs including crisis stabilization, inpatient and outpatient, residential, mental illness recovery programs, domestic violence shelters, rape recovery, substance use disorder services, and more.
