Dr. Patrick Kelly is a board-certified radiation oncologist at the Orlando Health Cancer Institute in downtown Orlando. He specializes in treating gastrointestinal and breast malignancies and serves as a principal investigator in the research and clinical trials program. Dr. Kelly graduated summa cum laude with his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. He completed a combined MD/PhD degree at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and a residency in radiation oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. His research has included improving the delivery of proton beam radiation therapy and MRI-guided radiation therapy, and improving outcomes in treating rectal and esophageal cancers.
