Mariatu Verla, MD

Dr. Mariatu Verla is a general surgeon with Orlando Health Medical Group in St. Cloud. She is skilled in performing a variety of surgeries on her patients, including lymph node biopsy, gallbladder removal and hernia repairs. Dr. Verla earned her medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill. She completed a general surgery residency and a surgery research fellowship in fetal and pediatric surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. She has also completed training in using the da Vinci surgical system for minimally invasive robotic-assisted surgery.
