Katerina Backus, MD

Katerina Backus, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified American Academy of Pediatrics and sports medicine physician with AdventHealth Medical Group Pediatric Orthopedics team. She is one of only a few select physicians to have achieved a patient satisfaction rating in the 99th percentile from surveys conducted by Press Ganey, and has earned multiple awards for her outstanding academic achievements. Her specialties include pediatric sports injuries, nonoperative musculoskeletal injuries, pediatric diseases affecting kid's mobility, and concussion management.
