Kamran Akram, MD, joined the Orlando Health Heart & Vascular Institute in 2012. He is board certified in internal medicine, nuclear medicine, echocardiography and cardiovascular computed tomography. Dr. Akram received his medical degree from University of Hamburg, Germany School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the Medical College of Georgia/Atlanta Medical Center in Atlanta. Following his residency, he completed a fellowship in nuclear medicine at Harvard University, and a fellowship in cardiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
