Joseph Boyer, Jr., MD, FACS, is a board-certified thoracic and general surgeon who directs the AdventHealth Cancer Institute’s Thoracic Cancer Program and the AdventHealth Cardiovascular Institute’s Robotics & Minimally Invasive Cardiothoracic Surgery Program. He is proficient in the use of advanced technologies, including video-assisted and robotic techniques, to provide highly delicate and minimally invasive surgeries within the heart and chest. His medical specialties include aortic valve replacement, mitral valve repair, off-pump and beating heart coronary artery surgery, endovascular aortic surgery, atrial fibrillation surgery and surgery to address esophageal cancers.
