Dr. Iordanca Anica is a double-board-certified physician with the Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute and Orlando Health Advanced Rehabilitation Institute — Outpatient Center, both in downtown Orlando. Dr. Anica specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation, also known as physiatry. She treats disabilities related to the brain, nerves, bones and muscles and works with patients to restore as much functioning as possible. Dr. Anica received her medical training at Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania. She completed residencies in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Emergency University Hospital in Bucharest and at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, where she was chief resident.
