Heart of Florida Legal Aid

Heart of Florida Legal Aid Society was founded in 1968 with a mission to work collaboratively with donors, clients, and partner programs to protect survivors of domestic violence, promote economic self-sufficiency in our communities, and foster stability for low-income families through quality and strategic legal advocacy. ​Heart of Florida Legal Aid Society is a nonprofit law firm providing free civil legal assistance to low income communities and individuals in the Tenth Judicial Circuit of Florida. Our service area includes Polk, Hardee, and Highlands counties. HOFLA's practice areas include family law, domestic violence, and immigration.
