Frank R. Avilucea, MD

Dr. Frank Avilucea is a fellowship-trained orthopedic trauma surgeon with the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute in downtown Orlando specializing in conditions of the knees and hips. Dr. Avilucea earned his bachelor’s degree in biophysical chemistry at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. He received his medical degree from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Dr. Avilucea completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, where he served as administrative chief resident. He completed an orthopedic traumatology and post-traumatic reconstruction fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Avilucea is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
