Francis Moore, Jr., MD, is a Professor in the University of Florida College of Medicine's Department of Surgery.Dr Moore attended Harvard University for both his undergraduate and medical degrees. Following medical school, he interned and completed his residency at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in the Department of Surgery. He also completed a trauma and burn research fellowship in Harvard Medical School's Division of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology. He later served as chief resident surgeon for both West Roxbury VA Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital.After his post-graduate training, Dr Moore was appointed to the faculty at Harvard Medical School and to the surgical staff at Brigham and Women's.
