The State Attorney is constitutionally charged with the duty to see that the laws of Florida are faithfully executed. The State Attorney provides personnel and procedures for the orderly, efficient and effective investigation, intake and processing of all felony, misdemeanor, criminal traffic and juvenile delinquency cases. There is a State Attorney elected for each of Florida's twenty judicial circuits.
