Dr. Emanuel “Mike” Vlastos is a board-certified maternal-fetal medicine physician at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Fetal Care Center. He diagnoses and treats fetal anomalies, identifies birth defects and performs fetal procedures and surgeries, often before the baby is born. His office is in downtown Orlando. Dr. Vlastos is director of the fetal care center and director of Advanced Fetal Services at Orlando Health. His expertise includes prenatal treatment for spina bifida (myelomeningocele) and twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome. He earned his medical degree from Creighton University, completed residencies at University of Wyoming and Regions Hospital, and performed a maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at Washington University.
