Edwin M. Ortega, APRN

Edwin M. Ortega is an advanced practice registered nurse with the Endocrinology and Diabetes Center at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. He has cared for young patients since 2012, and his expertise includes diabetes, obesity, thyroid disorders, poor growth, adrenal disorders and delayed puberty. Edwin uses empathy to ease patient fears, build trust and create a positive healthcare experience. He earned his bachelor’s in nursing at Remington College of Nursing in Lake Mary, Florida, and his master’s in nursing, family nurse practitioner track, at South University in Tampa, Florida. Edwin is fluent in English and Spanish. He likes to travel and spend time with family.
