Dr. James A Russell, Optometrist Eye Doctor in The Villages FL

Dr. James A. Russell is a Board Certified Optometric Physician. After graduating with honors, Dr. James A Russell settled into practice and has spent 9 years working with other professionals and consequently has gained diverse experiences especially in optometry. Dr. Russell grew up in Atlanta and attended the University of Georgia where he graduated Cum Laude in 2003 with a major in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. During his senior year he conducted extensive research on the properties of surface exotoxins of virulent bacteria such as E.Coli. Dr. Russell eventually switched his focus to the study of ocular sciences and went on to receive a Bachelor of Vision Science and Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University.
