Dr. Dany Shamoun

Dr. Shamoun is board certified gastroenterologist and brings over 18 years of experience in gastroenterology and advanced endoscopy in academic and tertiary care centers. Dr. Shamoun’s gastroenterology training was focused on advanced endoscopic techniques especially endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and treatment of precancerous GI lesions including Barrett’s esophagus and colon polyps. He treats a wide array of common GI diseases including gastroesophageal reflux disease, liver disease (e.g. Hepatitis C), Crohn’s disease and colitis. Dr. Shamoun also routinely performs preventive GI procedures especially screening colonoscopy.
