Dean Cole, MD

Dr. J. Dean Cole is an orthopedic surgeon with the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute in downtown Orlando. He has treated patients in Central Florida since 1989 and specializes in total knee replacement, total hip replacement and deformity correction. Dr. Cole consistently seeks improvement and new approaches to optimize patient care and quality of life, and these efforts have resulted in more than 25 patents. Dr. Cole earned his medical degree at the University of South Florida, where he also completed a residency in orthopedic surgery. He completed a fellowship in orthopedic traumatology at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in Houston. He enjoys kitesurfing and working to protect coastal ecosystems in Indian River Lagoon.
