Damita Thomas, MD

Dr. Damita Thomas is a board-certified nuclear medicine specialist with Orlando Health Medical Group Radiology who has more than a decade of experience. She cares for patients who need interpretation of nuclear imaging, which is used to examine organ function. Her office is in downtown Orlando. Dr. Thomas earned her medical degree at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and completed a partial residency in general surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, and at UF Health Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida. She completed a full residency in nuclear medicine at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. She believes great patient care takes time and patience. She enjoys baking.
