Oscar Smallwood began painting houses and commercial properties twenty years before the very first foundations of The Villages were ever laid. Since then, the Smallwood Painting Company has been a trusted name in local business here in Central Florida. In 1984, Oscar’s son Marvin, also known as Corky, took over the company, continuing to serve The Villages and the nearby area for the next thirty years.
