Dr Medina serves as Co-Director of Lakeland Regional Health’s Cardiothoracic Surgery Center. What is your patient care philosophy? It is important that the patient come first. What would you like people to know about you as a physician? I want patients to know that they should not be afraid to ask questions. Why did you decide to become a physician? Being a physician is a field that allows me to help people while also being involved in science. What do you enjoy most about working with patients? I take great satisfaction in seeing lives improve after surgery.
