Alice Floyd, APRN, CS, CWCN, has advanced certification in wound care including evaluation and treatment and conservative sharp debridement. She received her Master of Science in Nursing degree at the University of South Florida College of Nursing in Tampa. She began her medical career as a pharmacy technician at Munson Army Hospital in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, where she received the Army Commendation Medal and the Army Good Conduct Medal. Since then, she has served in a variety of nursing roles, including as a registered nurse in both progressive and intensive care hospital units, as an administrative supervisor for a 250-bed facility, and as department manager for 72 acute care and 20 observation beds.
